A native of Dallas, Texas the Pastor D. D. Fincher came back to Dallas, as Pastor/Founder of Logos Fellowship Church, of Rowlett. He Pastored the Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church of Amarillo, Texas. Coming from Odessa, Texas, where he was Pastor of the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church for the second time. He also Pastored the Independent Baptist Church of Como, Texas, and Sunset Missionary Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas. A 1984 graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, he also attended Southern Bible Institute, both of Dallas.
Pastor Fincher surrendered to the gospel ministry in 1985 at the age of nineteen; and this call to ministry was affirmed at the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Dallas where he was ordained in 1988. He was one of the youngest Pastors in North Amarillo and has preached on local, state, national and International levels. Pastor Fincher is the former Moderator of OWT. In addition he is the former President of the Ministers Conference of Texas State Missionary Baptist Convention, and formerly held the office of President of the Amarillo Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance. Pastor Fincher also formerly served as Board President of the Panhandle Community Service, and steering committee member for the planning of the city in Amarillo, TX.
Pastor Fincher is married to Jessie Mae. The Fincher’s have three children, Minister Terry L. Medlock Jr., Tawanna Fincher and Tieshea Phillips
